Jill Biden, born Jill Tracy Jacobs on June 3, 1951, is an American educator who has served as the First Lady of the United States since 2021. She is married to Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States.

Previous Roles

Prior to her role as First Lady, Jill Biden served as Second Lady from 2009 to 2017 during her husband's tenure as Vice President. She holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) and has worked as a community college educator for many years.

Current Role

As First Lady, Jill Biden has made education, military families, and cancer awareness key focuses of her initiatives. She is an advocate for accessible and affordable education and supports programs that empower military families. She also uses her platform to raise awareness about cancer prevention and research.
