Boeing's CST-100 Starliner Spacecraft Completes Successful Flight Test

Historic Mission Marks Significant Milestone in Commercial Crew Development

After years of development and rigorous testing, Boeing's CST-100 Starliner spacecraft has successfully completed its first uncrewed flight test, paving the way for future human spaceflight missions to the International Space Station (ISS).

The Starliner spacecraft launched atop a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Following a flawless ascent, the spacecraft entered orbit and completed a series of maneuvers.

The uncrewed "Orbital Flight Test-2" (OFT-2) mission was designed to demonstrate the Starliner's performance in key areas, including launch, docking with the ISS, and safe return to Earth.
